Jeszra is distributed in source code. A working Tcl/Tk 8.4 or higher is required for using Jeszra. Additional packages such as TkZinc 3.3.4, TkPath, tDOM and Img should be installed to get access to all of Jeszra’s functions. Please see the Appendix A, Technical Notes to locate these packages.

A series of special startup scripts exists in the Jeszra distribution. The most basic start-script is rungestalt.tcl , which can be used on all windowing systems. Other generic scripts are runX11.tcl, and runwindows.tcl for X Window System or the Microsoft® Windows®.

aqua.tcl is the startup script for AQUA®.

Jeszra contains additional designs for the X Window System.
